I have heard alot about them, but cant find them. I have sand skate 2's right now but i had alot of motor work done. im looking to go with a 10 paddle tire but not sure what to go with. on a stroker would you guys reccomend the 10 paddle tire if so which one. Hauler, Hauler extreme, or turbo king. I havent seen picture of the turbo kings so if somebody can post them that would be cool. also where i can buy them from. I do the dunes alot but also like to hill shoot everyonce in awhile. so not sure if the straight paddle is the way to go. but i hear the new haulers turn great. Please give advice. never had to deal with too much power for my paddles yet. lol, but i do have to say i like it:D

There have been quite a few threads about these tires. Here is a link to search results regarding Kings paddles.

Buy the Extremes, Eric. Cost is a little steep but waht you need for your 465. Probably the 8 paddle or 9 paddle, I dont think your bike is going to pull 10s as hard as you would like them to.

ya, i was just trying to figure out what other people have been running. i was probably planning on the extremes anyways. What paddle do you think would be best for me, the 8 or 9 paddle??

Its up to you, but I run 8 paddle haulers on my 450. It spins them hard in a first gear launch, but pulls them hard up the hill, and I can tell the bike is hooking up well, so its up to you.

I run 8 paddle kings turbo paddles. There a great deal I got them at honda suzuki of salt lake for $45 a tire! I have a discount though. I really like them they also have reinforced centers.

Anymore than 7 paddles is not only overkill, it will cause you to suffer top speed, tires will not slide very easy, and you will have too much hook up to launch.

Cant say I really agree with that. 45+ HP 450s need more then 7 paddles. Tires slide as much as you want, when you put the same amount of body english into the turn, My 450 with 8 paddle Haulers spins the hell outta them on a hard launch. The roost the bike throws is a good indication of much spin you have on a launch and how well the bike is pulling.

if i was going to do just sand drags and hill climbs i would use a 22inch 7 paddle hauler. 22inch 7 paddles is absolutly plenty for a 45-55 hp quad. the only reason why i dont get them is because i like to ride trails and jump. so im using 20inch 8 paddles. just changing to a 22inch 7paddle will probably add a good 1-2 bike length to your drag.

On a flat drag maybe, but no way on a hill. The 450R stock gearing is too tall to pull 20 inch paddles on a hill much less 22s. If you pulled 22s up a hill, youd have to gear down, wayyy down, and there goes your top speed, there goes your drags. I spent 4 days at the dunes testing all this out, 20s and 13/39, 13/40 is where its at for a 450R at the hill.
