Help with electric problem

I have a 416ex and sometimes when I go to start it it won't turnover or make a noise at all. But this mostly happens after im done racing it hard and then cut it off for a bit it wont turn over a bit later on when I try to start it. So I half to wait awhile for it to turn over. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had the same problem before. When I would turn it off after a hard ride it wouldn't turn over until it cooled down. I checked for power to the starter with a test light and it had power, But wouldn't turn over. I removed the starter and sent it to a local electrical specialist for a rebuild. It's been fine ever since.
