Anybody hear about this. I guess Bubba was practicing and cased a triple at Pheonix, broke his arm or wrist. Its too bad. I was looking forward to this race, and season.

James Stewart Unable To Compete In Phoenix
Team Kawasaki

Jan. 15, 2005

Phoenix (Jan.15, 2005) -- As released by Team Kawasaki earlier today, rookie 250cc rider, James "Bubba" Stewart will not compete at tonight's THQ World Supercross GP/ THQ AMA Supercross race at Bank One Ballpark in Phoenix.

According to the official press release issued by the team, James suffered a fractured left forearm during the second practice session prior to the event. Stewart was treated on-site and released for further evaluation.

Worth noting: before crashing, he did post the fastest overall lap time in the final 250cc practice - 51.281 seconds. Also worth noting: Stewart will be interviewed for fans in the audience at Bank One Ballpark.

No further information is available at this time about James's condition or when he plans to return to competition.
