05 450r w/3rhs and extras w/0hrs....Trade

I have an 05 450r I want to trade. This quad has about 3hrs total on it and aftermarket parts have 0hrs on them. It is jetted pretty good with the pipe and airbox lid removed. The mods are in my sig. I have an IL title (somewhere).. The quad is only about 3weeks old.. I will trade for a HIGHLY modded 400ex +Cash or will make some type of trade on a CRF/YZF quad that also is HIGHLY modded.

I notice you used to be big on buying/selling/trading quads and then you said you were getting out of it, so you could start selling trucks. You said you lost around 5K on your crf conversion alone. So my question is why did you buy the 450R if your already wanting to trade it for another crf? I just don't understand why you keep dealing in quads if your losing your *** with every deal? Unless your making money?? I'm not trying to be an ***, I am just curious.:)

Yeah I used to deal in a ton of parts and quads. I don’t loose big money on the quads, but I did loose some on a few of CRF I had, however I built them mainly to race but only rode them a few hrs. I will never build another hybrid quad in the future. I like this TRX a lot. I jumped in and bought it and was going to mod it (and still might), but decided it needed major $$$ to handle and run like my hybrids used to. Sooooo, since everyone is wanting to sell or trade the hybrids for the new 450's, why not trade them and they will have a quad they are happy with and I will have a quad I am happy with for about 1/2 the cost of building one.
Also after the new 450's, there is no such thing as dealing in ex/r parts, and the 450's that are decked out are too expensive to part out and make anything. Maybe in a few years if the race 450's cheapen up, I will deal again. I built a new shop this past summer and never put it to use.

I hear yah there. Im $12,000 into my YFZ and still have about $3,000 more to go. I bought the YFZ for reliability and wasnt going to mod ita ton, well after riding it I liked it so much I just had to start adding mods. :blah:. After having a LT quad you get spoiled.

i have a 400ex with a 440 motor and everything else aftermarket except the frame the motor has brand new piston,bore,cam, and rocker arms let me know if you are serious about trading a 400ex and cash

How about a 2001 400ex, 505cc motor, LT Houser front end, houser +1 1/4 swingarm, Houser stem, TCS front & rear shocks(not rebuild), hydraulic clutch, all hinson components, brake lines, AC bumper, skid plate, grab bar, aluminum air box, gussetted/powdercoated frame, AC pro-pegs, mair plastic, graphics/seat cover, all the goodies!!
