Been lookin at shocks for my 88 R and had a few questions about them

The spring rate:

Single, Dual and Triple Rate shocks i know, on a triple rate there are three sperate springs and and a dual there are 2 different springs and all that.
What is the benefit of having them? what purpose do they serve?

Also about the Rezzies' What good are they for? i know i have a stock one on my 88 R but i just have no clue what the hell they are or what they do.

I wish i wasn;t ignorant at times but i figured i;d ask on here

Pretty said i;ve been riding quad for the better part 10 years now and still don;t know all this stuff. Thanks guys

The triple and dual rate spring allow the shock to be soft in the first part of the stroke and still resist bottoming. The rezzies keep the shocks cooler and extend the time between needed servicings. You also must have a rezzie if you want adjustble shocks.
