I'm confused, is one sprocket size up or down for more top end speed?Thanks:confused:

to get more top speed you will need to add a tooth to the front sprocket.

Think of it as your if it was your bicycle. The smaller the cog at the front the easier it is to pedal but the slower the speed. Smaller sprocket = easier acceleration and more torque but less speed.;)

So I would have to go up a tooth for more speed
yep , 14tooth works good on a 250x/300ex.
