remember the 90's?

well a bunch of us went out tonight, had a little too much to drink, and got to talking about when we were kids and all the cool stuff from the 90's.

TV shows like what would you do, nick arcade, guts, etc...basically when nickelodeon and disney were all we watched

Music...hair metal faded out, grunge like nirvana and pearl jam came in, CDs started to replace tapes...

And all the other stupid stuff like the horrible clothes, the stupid fads like Pogs and yo-yos..

Man it was such a good conversation. Looking back the 90s were a lot of fun and its kinda funny to look back at how ridiculous things were.

does anybody else remember some cool stuff from when they were growing up?

I remember the 90's. I remember going to the nationals and there was nothing but 250r's and hybrid quads, you'd be very lucky to see a production quad (until 99' with the 400ex). In the mini classes, there were very few production quads also. I belive it was JR Hinds of hetrick raicng that cleared the 100+ foot triple at Casey on his modified 90...I also miss the Nac's semi!

Yes I had the Racing Stripes on the side .. and I had a rat tail. :ermm:

I also had the Pumps .... they were actually comfortable if I remember right . I ahd the Air Jordan Pumps ... red and white . :devil:

I also remember when Spandex was in .... hell I had a pair of spandex shorts when I was like 7 or 8 (late 80s very early 90s) . Now that I look back on it ... what was I thinking !!!!

What are some of the events that you remember from the 90s ??

The one that I think I'll remember the most , was the L.A Riots . I'm never gunan forget the video and images of when that truck driver drove right into the middle of the riots ... got pulled out of his rig and nearly beaten to death . They were breaking bricks over his head . :(

Also , I'll always remember where I was , when I seen the White Bronco driving down the freeway and OJ Simpson was in it . Along with when I first read on the front page of the news paper that Princess Diana was killed .

Wow, you guys make me feel old, lol. I think I grew up in the 80's more. Motley Crue, Cyndi Lauper, Prince...bandanas around our ankles. Us girls had like 4-5 earrings in each ear...in one hole!
We used to watch the Smurfs, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, and there was even a Pacman cartoon briefly. And remember Atari?

In the late 90's, my kids had Pokemon' cards, lol.

I'm almost 22 , and I still watch The Flintstones , The Jetsons and Bugs Bunny cartoons on TV when they come on (rarely anymore :( ) . Kid's cartoons these days suck soooo bad .

Bring back Twity Bird , The Road Runner , Bugs Bunny along with the Flintstones and The Jetsons. Those were cartoons . Now days , they have the Teletubbies (?) ... aren't they racists or gay or soemthign like that???

Yeah I remember watching ninja turtles almost every day on tv. I absolutely hated the show guts and the british ladies accent didn't help eather. Also when I had a 1970's kawasaki mx 100 dirtbike, man that thing was a beast and tought me how to ride.
