bolt question

I ordered a case saver from k&k and i need to know what size bolts i need to screw it on because when i got my 400 it did not have a stock guard on it or the screws for it.

I would call K&K and see if they come with the mounting bolts. If not, see if they can supply you with some.

Just go to the local hardware like ace and get some metric bolts. I have a box of different sizes because i'm always modifiying something. Hold the piece in place and push a small screwdriver or piece of coathanger wire in till it bottoms. deduct about 1/4 inch. Thats how long the bolt should be. If you want to add a trick look use metric allen head bolts.
