i've had mine pop out of gear a couple times... a couple to many.... i think it popped out of 3rd and went to 2nd

but are you an "A" mechanic?;) trannys go through allot of abuse when being raced by us "A" riders who knows what may have happened take it to you're dealer and pray they will fix it under warantee

mine would act up when i was running junk oil (the oil that came in it when i bought the quad) . then once i switched to honda tranny oil it worked perfect...and still does.

i found out what happen today a peice broke off second gear and fell into the bottom of the case

Are you power shifting......? If you abuse the tranny its gonna break.

its a 2004 and not under warrenty i do power shift sometimes

ok RIDER there is your problem power shifting honda put a clutch there for a reason and if you beat the crap out of it its going to break sometime.

i power shifted my 450r 1 time, and it didnt sound right...so i never do it anymore.

i did do it alot on my old 250r and never had any trouble... the 450 is just diff.

It feels the same for me, I can power shift a 250R, 400ex and my 450R all the same. you need to be in the right RPM range and it goes right into gear. And if it breaks I have the 5 year warrenty.

you guys are crazy I know the trannys are sincro (sp) mesh but the clutch is thier why not use it, Im not risking it.
