questions about switches

my first question is what should i do with the two wires attached to my clutch lever perch when replacing the stock clutch lever. i got a new one and now i have the wires just dangling. should i cap them off and tape them up, i still want to be able to start in gear so im not going to tie them together. also if you have race plastics on the front and dont have headlights do you remove the switch housing and bypass the red kill swith...maybe hook it into a tethered kill switch...? just wondering what you guys do to your bikes, info appreciated.

for the clutch question.....tie the wires together then tape em....you will still be able to start it in any gear--you dont tie em up you have to find N every time which is a pain
