im thinking about putting a wiseco 440 kit in my ex i was just wondering how much it would cost o have my cylinder bored out and if i was to do this should i go with 11:1 or 12.5:1 compression thanks for the help

If you go all the way to 440 you need to do more than just a bore. A bore will set you back between $40 and $60 depending on what your local shop charges. Compression is up to you. More compression = more power, more heat and less reliability. When you do the 440, you will need a good cam to go with it, a full exhaust to get the most power out of it, hardfaced rockers, heavy duty cam chain, oversized head studs, and a few other things to ensure reliability. An 8 plate clutch setup would also be a good idea.

Also you need to buy a new sleeve you cant just bore to a 440.

ok the wiseco kit comes with a sleeve and piston and i was planning on a stage 2 hot cam and i already have a t-4 slip on so do i need a header and how much woulds the chain and rocker arms cost
