Ok I have a question for anyone running the crf 450 cam chain. I got mine in today and realized that it is wider than the stock chain. WIll this be okay to run even though it could have a little side to side play? It will remain tight on the sprockets, so I'm not concerned with it jumping the sprockets. BUT will it be okay with that little side play? Anyone running this setup had any problems with it? Thanks guys.
I've heard that this is the norm for the cam chain, may people run it with no complaints. I'll be doing the same soon.

mine shoots out the exhaust every now and then, i just stuff it back in the gas tank and carry on :o
other than that i've had no major problems with it

mine did that once but it ruined the muffler bearings when it happened and cost me $28 to fix.

sounds like a clogged bearing spring :o
I switched to teflon muffler bearings and solved the problems, no more clogged springs or broken bearings.
