Broken Collarbone

I was wondering who here has broken their collarbone, and how it feels to get back to racing. I heard its kind of a bad bone to break because your arm will feel weak for a while when you get back on the bike...

I shattered my collarbone in 8 places the last race of the season on my Blaster, and I get realsed from the doctor next Friday. It will be 20 weeks and 5 days since it happened. Later.

IT SUCKS! I went over the bars June 03, broke my right one in 5 places. Took a plate & 8 screws to fix it. My whole shoulder was weak, and it gets tried easy. Still can't sleep on my right side. First race back was bad after 45 minutes I could bearly hang on to the bars.It does get better. Archer curls with dumbbells helped. Good luck and remember follow your Doctors advice, your paying for it.Later Joe occra #???.

i broke mine this july and was out for about 6 weeks when i came back i was doin just fine but i only broke it in half so ya'll probaly were in more pain..
