Help porting and engine work

I'm looking for someone to help me learn more with porting and tuning of an engineor if someone knows if any software or literature is available. I'm in college at the time for marine and small engine tech and would like to learn more about. i do alot of racing with quads now. I would be willing to learn if someone would give up the time to help. Any help would be of great to me and info please

What do you want to port? 2 strokes? 4 strokes? It's a different ball game between the two. 4 strokes take a little more work. But yeah if there is any literature I would like to learn about it as well.
