just to clarify in uk to road reg you must have a certificate of newness, to prove vehicle was manufactured and distrubuted, in a certain year and vat /dutys paid,
with this you can get a year related number plate with registration documents,.. ie: road legal..
with out it it has to go on a q plate , and is classed as a tractor, farm machinery. not so good when you come to sell it later on in life..
hope this helps..

yeah but around here we can't put them road legal. except in a couple states. you will have to find someone from the UK to anwser your Q? I think.

In some of the US states you can get a Certificate of Origin from the dealer. Other states issue Titles for ATVs. Some states use the Title or Certificate of Origin to issue registration stickers or license plates(number plates). But I don't think any of that paperwork will help in your case.

Like 44oEX said you'll probably have to find someone in the UK to help you.
