i'm entering my first race (mx) this weekend, and i know i'm going to need to get new shocks before too long. my budget will allow me to get either elka or works. i'm going to stay with stock a-arms for now, but if i go to + size a-arms in the future, would i have to change shocks to fit the new a-arms?

No, you will only have to change the spring rate and possibly the valving.

I bought my works triple rates w/rezzies setup for stock a arms and when I got my +2 housers all they did was revalve my shocks and left the original springs on it and it rides great. Can't complain at all, if any of you New Jersey riders new your shocks serviced or rebuilt and need them done within a week go to "Get Real Racing" in Oak Ridge. He does a great job and his prices are reasonable.

400exRacerX, Does "Get Real Racing" sell Shocks? What Brand if they do? Is that the one Guy you ride with?
