District 14 Hare scramble - Portland MI

Is anyone hear running the District 14 Hare scramble at Portland MI this weekend?

Is the land pretty good, any hills? I heard it is sandy and high speed.

Sandy and High speed sounds about right... 1/4 or so is woods ----Very open as compared to the GNCCs 1/2 MX ---very light stuff, 1/4 open marked field.... Fun track---gets somewhat rutted but not too bad.....
