Anyone here ever have a driveshaft coupler go out? Or has your vehicle ever leaked any transmission coolant? These fly-by-night garages will tell you anything!!

well heres how u fix your check engine lite is on.. theres a wire on your intake manifold that goes to your carburator injectors, find that wire it should go to your fuller pump, unplug that and its fixed

if your csar's exaust is smoking it might need to go on the patch to make it stop.

The car is over heating because the radiator is dirty, it needs a radiator enima.

Haha You realy dont know much about cars do you? There are cars that have no u joints and have drive shafts they dont use cv joint either. They use a drive shaft coupler, Its made up of rubber and you can find them on volvo, beamers and mercedes. As far as your automatic trans lieaking green antifreeze. It possible and it happens. It can happen because all autos have a trans cooler that is loacted inside the radiator. Its supose to be a seperate system, but they can leak and when they do it will pump atf into the rad. when the car is running and when the car is off the antifreeze can go into the trans. But then i again what do i know, i just work at a trany shop.

Yes actually I know more about cars than most of the shops around me, I meant those comments as a joke. I've only been turning wrenches for about 14 years. There is no such thing as transmission coolant, no matter how much fluid leaks into the radiator via a bad cooler. And I have yet to see a rubber coupling driving a driveshaft on any of the mentioned cars unless you mean fairly new ones, which I am not familiar with. The only rubber driveshaft couplers I've ever seen are on jet boats and jet skis.

So your telling me they have brake grease that you put on your brake rotors to help stopping power ? I think you need to go back to school ;) there may be grease that goes behind the pad so it doesnt stick ot the caliper but thats 2 different things..... caliper and rotor arent the same thing ;)
