Just a ?. Why did you put in the pro-x rod? And have you had any problems with the 330?, like having to rebuild it once in a while. Because I have almost the exact same motor set up minus the rod.

hondardr4life,

When I originally bought the 4 wheeler 4 years ago (completely stock) it smoked like a freight train and the bottom end was pretty much warped, so I had the whole bottom end redone, along with all the bearnings that wad bad on the bottom the rod had some play in it, so I decided to put every thing new in the bottom end, and while the bottom end was redone I decided to get the FST big bore kit to make this thing run. The only thing Ihave had problems with is getting the gearing that I like. Stock gearing with this big bore is WAY to low by the time I grab 5th it is already maxed out, so I got a different rear sprocket which helped a little, I should have gotten a smaller one yet.

Oh, I was afraid that the 330 kit did somethign to your bottom end, and i was a little worried. What gearing did you end up with? I am trying to get mine right. I have 22" tires on mine, and I have 14/38 right now. I was thinking on going down to 14/36. Do you think that will take away to much torque? Because my favorite thign to do is climb hills, but I like to smoke 400ex's too.:D

I have the 14/38 too, it made a little difference, but not a whole lot. I think we would be safe to go down to the 14/36 and still have the proper gearing/torque for trails and hill climbing. My bike is unbelieveably fast out the holeshot.
