Its just like a car if you leave it sit for that long without touching it starting its going to be a big *****. Keep trying.. try pumping the throttle couple times before you kick it to get that fuel pumping.

Ya before I tore mine apart I bet I kicked that son of a gun about 30 times. Then Boom fired right up. I did have to pump the throttle to get it to start. Then I came back a little later and fired up first kick!

get a new plug anyways and check the gap, crank it a bunch of times with the plug off to get some of that old crap out.Drain the bowl on the carb and put new fuel in the tank(premium) then try to start it.If the quads in the cold there's a trick if your shops not heated, take the air filter off and stick your girlfriends hair dryer in there,10 to 20 min and she'll fire right up.Cold+moisture=sucks.

this is how i start mine in cold weather....

1.) turn choke on (duh)

2.) MAKE SURE HEADLIGHT IS OFF

3.) pump throttle (fully) 3 times

4.) kick (with no throttle!!!)

Usually fires up within 3-5 kicks.

Hope this helps you out!!

I had the same problem with my 450, i said screw that i am not going to sit there and kick it for 30 minuts so i took the seat off sprayed starting fluid on the filter with out taking it off for about 5 seconds kicked it once and there ya go.

34 degrees is cold. hard starting in cold weather might mean it's to lean. try going up one pilot jet if you're still having trouble getting her to fire up after you have tried the other methods.
