I have always run holeshot XC's in racing and I was thinking of moving to the XCR's this year. Has anyone used both, how do they compare? I'm not interested in HD's because they're too much tire for most of our races.

I like the traction of the XCR tires in good conditions, but the xc is a bit taller in the rear and the front does better in the mud than the XCR. Of course this is my opion other may differ

For me the XCR's slide out to easily and are too short in the rear. They where designed for lower horepower quads like the 400ex to be able to break loose easier but they break loose too easily on the higher HP bikes like the ATK, 450R and YFZ.
I don't like the fronts at all due to their wide profile. I like the XC's better front and rear.

only real difference i could tell was the xcr can throw some mad roost, even when you arent trying too. geuss thats a good way to win a race, cant get passed if nobody want to get close to yA!LOL

Thanks guys. I've always liked the XC's but wasn't sure if there was an advantage with the XCR's. I will be sticking with the XC's.
