I am running a twin air filter on my 300 as of now, and I was wondering, Is a K&N filter any better? I have heard they do not filter the air as good as foam filters do. Is there much of a performance difference between the 2?

If you properly take care of your K&N, it is no different in filtering capabilities. Just keep it clean, and well maintained. I didn't notice any change from the uni to the K&N on my 400.

yes, a K&N will flow more. however, i wouldn't spend the extra cash on one. i would just keep what you have and put the money elsewhere.

Well I have both lol. I cant really notice a difference between the two, but I was justy wondering what everyone else thinks on the subject.

I used a K&N at one point then switched to a Twin Air. I didnt notice any performance difference, but I did notice that the Twin filtered out the dust a whole lot better than the K&N...
