Anyone know where I can get some Flat Track tires that would fit my 8" beadlock?

I saw a guy at the last race with some 16.5" McCreary's? I think they were?

Anyone know where I can get them? and how much they are?

Or any other flat track tire for an 8" rim.

Im doing indoor races on pavement...... 18" holeshots arent working out too hot!

Thanks!

Yea, I was wondering the same thing. I wanna try out some flat tracking and some TT and was wondering if there are any tires that I can throw on some 8inch rims.

look at the hoosier tri-trac "knock-offs" made by duro. they're cheap ($40) and can be found in Dennis Kirk or Parts Unlim. They're just a lot harder than traditional "compound" flat track tires; should work great for powersliding on asphalt. For front's we used to use the same radial tire the mx guys use, but left it ungrooved. we used those fronts when we tried to get quad supermoto started in WI a few years back. i'll get back to you on what model that tire is...

yep, the duro tires are good I think for hardpack

maxxis is also making goldspeed tires, very popular in europe.

yea go with the 16x9.5x8 american racing tires ( McCreary's ) they work great on small ovals and tt like the winter indoors i used t run them on my banshee and would kill em becouse they worked so good on the small ovals you can find them on the web easy and they only retail for around 80 bucks each they are listed as a mico sprint tire get they you wont be sorry.

I saw 18x10x8 golf cart tires for pavement at Wal-Mart for $30 a piece.
