I'm looking into a power washer, but I don't know sqaut about them, or the cleaning solutions. I was thinking about a plug in electric one I saw at Home Depot a husky 1750 psi. Anyone?

I got either a Kratcher (?) or Simonizer (?) ... it's yellow and black anyhow .... 1700psi , electric and I love it . Just to warn you ... if you are cleaning off anything with decals be careful ... and careful when cleaning cars or trucks .... it will chip the paint if you get too close.

I have a 2400psi gas unit from Homedepot. Honda powered with a devilbiss pump, $400. If your going to buy a pressure washer buy a good one and you'll only buy it once. You'll use it a lot more than you think. I bet I ran close to 10 gallons of gas through mine last year cleaning around the house, the quads, mower, grill, sidewalks, the list of uses is endless.

I agree with that ... We use ours all the time . Clean off the siding and brick on the house and garage . Clean the garage floor . Wash 2 cars and a truck with it . Wash 2 quads and 2 boats and the list goes on .

Like everyone said, you will find yourself using it for everything.I have a gas powered one because I don't like the idea of having water near an electric cord(if you have to use an extension cord).I use mine for my deck,patio,cars,trucks,bikes,4-wheelers,you name it.It is a good investment.Don't go cheap, buy a good one and take care of it and it should last for several years.Just my 2 cents.

Mean Green works wonders.

For the quads simplegreen or Castrol superclean will do great. for the wood and concrete, I have found the solutions they sell at home depot to work fairly pretty good.

I bought a gasoline powered one at Wal-Mart for $189 with a B&S motor. The PSI is around 2,000 and it works great. It has an adjustable nozzle and cleaning solution induction. I don't think I would buy an electric one.
