In my old posts I tryed to figure out what my cutout problem was. I have a 11:1 piston, ported head, hotcam stage II, and yosh full exhaust, and the stock air filter. I have a 168 m jet, and a 42 pilot. The cutout was low end, and it seemed like it would load up and then just start cutting out very hard (had to down shift or get off throtle). It was hard to do wheelies, and it didn't have much of a punch right off the throttle. But it was still fast, just no hard low punch.
Well I put the UNI air filter on and fixed all the problems, I have the air lid off. And the bike is much much better to ride. Wheelies come very easy, has that low end punch, and feels decently faster.
For all who have had similar problems, this is my story. I guess it was just limited and not getting enough air. For $25, my bike feels like new.
