Anybody boat in the summer. :) I ride quads/dirt bikes in the fall/winter and boat all summer. I went from wakeboarding to Hydrofoiling . ( air chair or sky ski ) I now ride a 2004 Sky Ski ST Pro, it has a shock so it really helps your back. Anybody esle hydrofoil or ever heard of it ?? Our ride is a 2001 Malibu wakesetter VLX. Its alot of fun with friends and family.

Yeah ... you're right .. something is better than nothing . We have a 12 foot aluminum and a 14 foot aluminum . :p One sports a 7.5HP and the other a 20HP .
I love your description of "Boat" LMAO .
A local car dealership here in town had a Wakestter on his lot last summer .... I was too afraid to ask the price ... I'd have probably dropped dead . All I know , is that they aren't cheap . Half the price of a house .

The sky ski , hydrofoil, is really safe if you buy the proper gear. I bought aftermarket foot stays ( double wrapped 2 in velco ) that hold your feet in !!! and a 2 in wide lap belt to keep you in !!! You DO NOT want to break loose from the chair. I have never felt like I was going to fall out. It floats with you so if you crash, you just float up to the top , no big deal . 2 summers so far and I love it. I do wear a helment now, to protect ear drums. If you hit a stick or log in the water that HURTS, instance FACE plant  Here is a black flip crash that I tried to do. I finally got it around ( blackflip ) last summer a few times, Still working on it.
Check out www.foilfreaks.com to see the sick people ride !!!

Add on, Ive owned plenty of boats in my day. Got tired of it all and have not owned one in 6 years. Sold my fishing poles and tackle about 3 years ago also.
Dont call me a light weight, I bet I have more time in a boat than most of you. Years and years of every type of fishing, skiing, rides, you name it.
I just got burnt out on it.

Is that a Baja , or Fountain Boat how long ?? There are ALOT of Foutain Boats where I boat at. They run the main river, we stay off the main river, to rough. I rode in a fountain boat once 29 ft long with a 454 in it. Most of the Fountain boats have 3 , 502 motors in them , yes 3 motors, they blow by going like 100 mph.. thats crazy !!
Slalmon and barefooting beat you up to much , very rough.... going 35 +++ on your barefeet thats crazy. I can slalmon ( but do not ) , but no barefoot here. My friends do it, and "foot" he can do a RUNNING dock start. He runs, jumps in , lands on back, then plants his feet.
Here is my summer haven !!!!!!!!!!!!!

doesn't everyone boat????
seriuosly though, boating in the summer and atving in winter is the name of the game in FL.
Used to wakeboard like mad until i suffered a bi-lateral ACL tear.....that ended the wakeboarding real kwik.
Maybe I should try that Air Chair..

Tacundra, thats why I quit wakeboarding because it hurt my knees, But I still blew out my ACL and knee on my quad , I'm still out for 2 more months from work. You should try Hydrofoiling its a RUSH !!!!!! and does not hurt your body like wakeboarding does. ( I'm getting old :D )

Baja, fountain, cougar, eliminator, donzi, scarab,Formu la......those were the days used to boat but we sold ours to buy the quads, using the boat 3 times a year like a week each wasnt worth the what we paid for it, the good thing about boats is they don't really depriciate in value that much compared to cars, quads, bikes etc. as long as you maintain good care of them.

They ALWAYS help me some how, gas , food, cook supper, cokes, etc.. or just help me do work on the boat or around my cabin.. My cousin :grr: I took him ALL summer , fed him food, took to lake.. NOTHING !! I even told him !! I need help $$$$$$ with gas was $3.00 and up this year, he never helped... so he no longer gets invited to the lake... NO PAY, NO PLAY !!!!
