Anybody know where to buy the upright (Laeger style) balljoint mounts? We have a guy that'll make them out of pipe, and thread them, but I was looking at a set of arms today that look like they have a mass produced end on the arms. Lil help???

Anyone that manufactures components either make them or have them made. What part are you actually talking about? Is it the boss that welds into the arm that the balljoint threads into? Or is it the boss that goes into the lower arm that is slotted for the new style leager balljoint?

The lower mount like Walsh and laeger use.

In your earlier post you had said that you had someone that would make it out of pipe and then thread it. The balljoint that I'm talking about doesn't have threads. It has a machined shoulder on it and two flat edges to locate it. If this is what your talking about, I could sell you a couple. Won't be cheap. PM me if your interested. If your going to build your own arms you really should understand more about the design issues. Designing a arm isn't just a matter of coping and welding a bunch of parts together. Let me know if I can help you out.

You are correct, I may be confused. My main sponser builds arms, and wants me to see where to get the lower Walsh/Laeger style balljoint mounts. They definetly know whats up, they just don't use the computor much, sooooooo here I am. Here's a set of arms they just finished for my quad, just so ya know.

You can see the standard lower balljoints and mounts, we'de like to change to the newer style lower, and hope that someone already makes them, to cut down on fab time.
