2+1 front end for 400ex

i know most people dont reccomend a 2+1 front end on a 400ex unless you have a longer swing arm. I have a stock swingarm and stock a arms w/ 2+3 offset front rims. my question is will it handle worse with 2+1's than it will with stock arms? im asking because im wanting to get some a arms and a friend has a set of 2+1 lsr's that he will sell me real cheap

The problem with going 1 inch forward on the 400ex is that it will push in the corners. That is why you would not want to do it unless you went with the longer swingarm.
