250r axle on a 400ex

alright, i know that a 250r axle will fit on a 400ex if you use the 250r hubs. but, do you have to use a 250r axle lock nut?? or, will my stock 400ex one work??

I'm pretty sure the axle nuts are the same, you should be able to use yours.

one other question. will a 250r lsr axle be wider than a 400ex lsr axle?? or will it be the same width??

i put 250r axle on my 400 n i used 250r axle hubs n locknut

The 400ex axle is 1 inch wider than the 250r.
