Help-Steering stem bushing clip.

The clip broke in the steering stem that holds the bearing in there.. Anyone know a good way of getting it out? We tried banging it out but no go on that..

Well we have tried everything heating,beating, everything and we cant get this clip to fall out.. I wish i had a better pic but the closeups wouldnt come out right.. Just to clarify this is what im working with.. Of course the clip is in the top ridge..

snap ring pliers dude....thats all it is....that should make it come out...

yeah i know that.. But the clip broke right where the plyers are useed.... So now 3/4 of the clip is in there with 3/4 of the bearing..Gonna try an acetoline torch this weekend..

if you have a small cut off wheel...or something like that...cut it in 2 pieces and it should fall out....or cut it in many pieces....something like a dremel with them cut disks would work

worth a shot.. Im trying anything i dont wanna hurt the frame..

yea it shouldnt hurt it....i had a piece of a bearing stuck on my axle and i took my cut off wheel to the piece of bearing and got it off didnt do any damage to the axle

u shoulda been in my shoes...my 400ex stayed on blocks for 6 months because my bearing carrier was gone....and i couldnt ride

here is the story behind that...well my axle bearings were going bad and i parked my bike for a while until i could get some money to fix my bike, well 1 day while i was gone my littlest brother and his friend decided they wanted to go in my room and steal my 400ex keys and ride my bike while i wont here...and that tore my carrier all up because the bearings were shot anyways....and i had to wait for them to get the money to pay me back....cuz i sure as hell wont buyin somethin that i didnt tear up...so i had to look at my quad for 6 months on blocks...and i didnt have the money to fix it myself....i could got new bearings all day long at a local bearing shop for like 3 bucks/bearing...

Damn that sucks.. Totally my quad has been sitting on blocks for 2 1/2 months.. Im rebuilding a 96 300ex.. 2003 plastics and everything.. It shoulda been done week and a half ago but this happened..
