450r shocks

anyone running 450r front shocks on their 400ex? i think i am going to when i get the cash but i was wonderin if anyone else has done this? pics?

When I tried a set on my 400 it looked like the rezzies would hit on the top a-arm. I was just wondering if anybody had any problems with this? I haven't heard anything yet but just curious.

is it possible to put 450r shocks on 400ex front end and is there a secret to do it? Need help fast!

The shock eye area on top needs to be ground or machined in 2 places- on top to clear the welded on nut for the plastic bracket and on the back side of eye to clear the shock mount.

Alot of ppl buy aftermarket shocks, and have old ones layin around waiting to be sold, look around, ull find a cheap pair.

cool thanks for the info. It just looked like when I set them on, that when the arms compressed that the rezzies would hit, but I wasn't sure. Thanks for the info.
