950 dollars and for a kid that is only 15 and works 2 months out of the year and still has to pay 100 dollars a month on payments seems pretty good and it is all stock pretty much

I didn't buy everything at once , but within the last 8 months I spent...

$800 on Hipers
$350 on Tires ( Holeshot , Holeshot MXRs)
$300 for AC Pro Pegs , Pro Design Tether , PEP Relocator ( good deal on that stuff)
$165 on IMS front Bumper
$145 Fibe Industries Carbon Fiber Hood
$25 White Bros e-brake block off
$20 on Different size Jets

Total of $1805

I'd have a new exhaust system on there right now , but I just dropped another $1800 today on a new bed .

Does everyone pay cash for say 5 grand in aftermarket or do you max your credit cards or maybe just go to the credit union and get a personal loan for 5 grand or so to build your quad?

Always wondered because I sometimes get a few dollars here and there burnin' a hole in my pocket and I go buy something. I bought Elka's for the front and it was about 6 months later before I bought my rear....same for everything else. I see bikes at a GNCC one week and two weeks later at the next race the guy has dropped 3 grand in it...

i just budget my money, set money aside each week for racing and parts in the winter it builds up faster so i just pay cash when i buy parts, and i always do it about a grand at a time....its somewhat embarassing when you have that much money in 20s...people think your a drug dealer or something

I have way too much in my lsr crf450r, paid 9g's for the bike, it cost the guy almost $27,000 to build it, then second time I rode it, got rear ended good bye exhaust and grab bar $600, first day riding in florida, chain blew off after the carrier exploded $4500 for a 03 crf450r dirtbike to steal the motor from, can sell the chassis for $1500 so 3g's, need a new carrier $200, next year rebuild rear shock $200?, guess I'm not that far in at 14,000. my atc250r I lost count, but I know its well over 5g's and I just bought a 310 pv cylinder for it!!! I'm gonna have probably over 6g's into my 03 crf450r when I rebuild the motor and convert it to a dual sport. my atc200x almost 3g's and not done yet. Atleast like some poeple that I know, that amount of money didn't go up my nose, injected in my arm, smoked, etc(a family memeber of mine is a recovering drug addict), that what my mom says.

Well I added up the retail cost of all the aftermarketparts I've bought for my R, and it is $17,485. The original R I bought was $4,000. Very few parts from this are on my R now. The YZ has all the same parts thaat are aftermarket, excluding the engine parts. The 426's retail is definitely well over 20... once you start you can never stop. I'd hate to sit back and add up EVERY part I've ever bought...

I just added up all that I have into my 250r project as of now and it's at 2675 dollars. And I am pouring more and more money into it every couple days or week.

I was getting the front end allignment on the box van (race truck) and they told me it would take an hour so me and one of the mechanics here at the shop walked across the street to a ford dealership to look at new race trucks. Then we went to look at this very nice red mustang and as we were looking at it a salesmen came over and asked if we needed help so i started asking questions about the pricws of the box vans and we went inside and got some info on them.My friend matt our mechanic drives a ford lightning and was real interested in the mustang so after killing an hour he signed up to win a car i said it was a scam but signed up any ways.2 months later Ford Motor Company called me and asked when i was going to pick up my car.I had to pay sales tax registration and document fees of $1605.44 .Its very nice car i had for two weeks and have 96 miles on it.Just sitting in the garage
