Ok looking to go to 4+1 fronts for my newly aquired LT front end. I just saw magic racing has itp t-9's advertised in 4+1's. It was always my understanding that you couldnt have an inner reinforcing ring on a true 4+1 because it would hit the caliper or a-arm. am i wrong on that one? I have also heard a few individuals say that they werent all that happy with their t-9's. whats the word on that ? anyway any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks, matt.

i assume your talking about the t-9 baja rims. ITP does make these w/ or 4x1 or 3x2. I have 3x2 and the inner ring is alot smaller than the outer ring so it doesnt hit the caliper. My only complaint is I had a piece of gravel get stuck in between the ring and center of the rim and it put some scratches in it. Ive also heard the valve stem is difficult to get to w/ their 4x1 baja wheel. Other than that they seem be holding up great, they look good too.

The valve stem is hard to get too, a guy I know put 90 degree stems in his. They are nice rims though, and for the money I would run them.

i kid a race mx with had front wheels with reinforcement rings on them, i think they were douglas though anyway he ground the ring on the inside down a little for more clearance
