300ex Plastic question.

Just being curious, but do other peoples rear fenders on a 300ex kinda of shake and rattle right behind the leg place? Mine does and it annoys the heck out of me, any simple way to fix this? ( Its just loose and bangs against metal pieces under it. )

Try bending the metal braces just enough so they fit snug on one side of where they go into the plastic. I did that...and it doesn't completely solve the rattle but it helps quite a bit...just don't over bend them so they pop out all the time...You could also try putting some silicon in the holes and before it dries put back the metal braces...that could solve the problem...

I'm gonna try that. I even thought abt. drilling holes in the plastic and zip-tieing it with removable zip ties.
Note:This idea is MUCH BETTER.

I have a 2002 300EX also and it does the4 same thing.At first it bothered me alot but I finally just got used to it.

I just took mine off.. It worked for me.. I get more mudd up behing my legs, but its a quick fix
