Cant get my avatar to work right

Everytime i try to add a picture using avatar it says that it is too big. How do i resize to get the picture to be the correct size>? or how do i get a picture? any help on this would be appreciated

Put the icon you want in paint.. Image then strech/skew then the top two blanks should say 100% make it smaller till it fits.

if u have windows xp, take the picture and make it your image on the welcom screen. then take a screen shot and copy the image, save and u have yourself a perfectly sized avator.
