Even though I have a edelbrock carb, i would say go with one of the fcr carbs because they have great power gains and people on the forum have them so you can get good advice on working on them.

What makes any carb so good? It is all about what you want. One good thing about the lecton it has no Jets to mess with. It is one of the simplest carbs I have ever taken apart or worked on and is very good. I love the lecton carb except for the flat side carb which you have to clean every now and then. I would go with the FCR if you are going to ride trails, But if you want to race then you best bet is going to be the Lectron.

I just bought a 39 fcr and was wondering what jetting you guys run.I have a 425 with a TC mx cam. Also did you run a vent hose into the airbox? If so where on the carb do you hook up the hose?I got rid of my Lectron and bought the fcr now i just want to get it dialed in as soon as possible.
