wanted plus 2 aarms for a 250x

looking for some +2 +1 aarms for my 250x i was gonna do the 400 ex a arms and shocks but read into it on here and have seen it wasnt a good idea well i have the shocks so now i need the a arms

The 400ex or 250r a-arms will work fine on a 250x or 300ex..people say it causes bump steer and some other things..I ran a 250x for the past year with 400 arms on it and it was fine..I also have a 250X/350X conversion that has 250r arms on it and it works great as well..I dont notice any bump steer, but I figure if you did then you could always get a steering damper..Not a big deal..Just thought you should know..

ok so the 400 ex aarms will work do i need that custom mount they sell on ebay or can i use the stock mounts on my frame with the 400 shocks and also what baout height someone sais that it makes the front sit too high?

Ok first of all you will need a relocator bracket that they sell on ebay..I have bought both..The first one pictured here sucks!! DO NOT buy it..It is junk..it makes the fender mount all messed up and you have to cut it or do some rigging to get it to work..even though it is cheaper it is home made junk!! Now the other one pictured is a great mount..gives you adjustability and mounts perfect..never had a problem with it..I would definately buy that one..400ex shock are entirely too long to mount into the stock 300ex location so the relocator bracket is necessary!! This conversion does NOT make the quads front end sit any higher..it sits the exact same height as a stock 300 its just the 400 shocks are longer which gives more travel and that is the point of the relocator bracket..Hope this helps!!

The brackets can be bought off of ebay..I can get them from the guy that sell them on there for either $65 + shipping or $65 shipped..I cant remember..Let me know if you want one and I will talk to him..let me know..Thanks

ok well im gonna need the bracket but wanan wait on it till i get the arms also what about the head pipe im lookin to dthe motor swap but need info on jus about everything im gonna buy the mount kit from powroll but dont wanna spend 500 or whatever it is on the header thanx also does it handle better wit the front suspension from the ex will it b worth the swap

Dude dont buy the mount kit from powroll!! It is a rip off..It is nothing that you couldnt do with some washers I promise..I can walk you through the wiring and everything..Now th headerpipe can either be a stock 350x headpipe that has been extended about 3-4 inches where it goes into the motor (pretty easy) because it has to clear the frame or the only thing I can think of is the powroll exhaust..I just picked one up off of this site for $125 for the full exhuast..let me know if you need anything else..
