Mounting FCR39

I have a question about mounting the FCR39mm up to my 400EX the adapter kit that came with it had the one piece that bolts the carb with the o-ring and then the other side with the threaded piece well my problme is that I can't get it to thread into it. It has a space of no threads and then it has the threads on it. Is it the wrong piece or what? Got the carb from Sudco. Its for the 400 so any help would be helpful. Thanks.

if it won't thread on, call sudco up and ask them what the problem is.

I thought sudco only sent the non assembled carbs to dealers, I guess I was wrong we assemble and prejet the carbs before they leave here.. what might of happened is they sent you the wrong size threaded adaptor.

Yeah i got if from a local dealer and it did turn out they sent the adapter for the 41mm instead of the 39mm. Thanks everyone.
