any good riding on long island or close too ??

im from long island and im looking for more places to ride . comon guys there got to be a few long island guys out here in ex land .lol

These are all the places i know of that are close to long island or on it.

- There is supposed to be a new track across the Whitestone bridge by the old Adventureland
- There is a pit right by the riverhead dump (Crown Sanitation) It has sand hills, some hill climbs, trails going around the pit, trails that go behind and out of it, a few small jumps and more.
- There are also some spots on the side of the L.I.E exit 56 and 64
- There is the track at yaphank
- There is supposed to be a place opening in the hamptons
- A little spot off rockaway turnpyke by JFK
- Fountain Ave. and the Baja in Howard Beach
- There is a place by the old flushing airport
- Daimondback
- Walden
- Ace
- and by the Nassau Coliseum

I JUST WANT TO LET YOU KNOW I HAVE NOT RIDDEN AT ANY OF THESE PLACES AND I HAVE ONLY HEARD ABOUT THEM. THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THAT IF YOU GO TO THEM THERE MIGHT BE COPS!!!.

The only place i do know about is the place by the nassau colliseum. My friend rides there and says the cops dont bother you. I also heard that the yaphank track is very good.

If anyone knows any other good places let me know.

i am the orignator of these spots,i put yamaha on to them

dont go to any of the exits of the l.i.e,unless you want tickets or your quad taken away,,,,,

the spot by jfk,is cool,cops dont say anyting,but it is a small sand pit,nothing serious there

howard beach is off limits unless you live there like i do,just because you dont know the trails,and park police go in,some days,i have been riding there all my life,its the only spot left in new york city that is the best,nothing touches it,alot of trails and every year in the fall,i make new trails and repair all the jumps

the track at yaphank is sick,but you have to know have to ride to enjoy it,

the pit by riverhead,i never heard of till now.maybe you can ride,i dont know

fountain ave was and will always be the ****,there will never be nothing like it,i uses to ride there everyday,i mean everyday night and day,street trick riding,12 o clock,endos and stuff like thay,any rider that nows about fountain knows the deal,,,,,there is a few of us left,,,no much these days,,most of them have formed crews like the wheelie boyz/ruff ryders,and most go out to jersy,,its sad we lost it to a mall,but it will always be in my mind,and in the videos and pics i have,,,also my style of riding represents fountain.....to all those who rode there...keep it going never stop,,,bring it back to the streets,dont let it die

and the old flushing air port is alive,again,but still slow,not much action.and muddy as helllllllllll

now by the coliseum,,,,,,i have heard about it,but where is it,,,i would like to try it out,,,is it big,how about a ride down there...

and that white stone spot is done,it was a construction zone,,that used to have trails,,now it is going to be a golf spot,,dont ride there,they will bust serious ballz

i live 2 min. away from the riverhead pit and i havnt seen cops there once, and i have been there alot. it certainly isnt a tremendous pit , but it is pretty nice. it has hillclimbs, trails going around, sides to roost, a jump or two. when i get my quad, i will try to take a few pics of it. i would say it is pretty sweet place to ride.

the pit is across from crown sanitation dump in riverhead. i was there on saterday, but noone was there.
