drag- 450r vs 250f bike??

im just wondering if anyone has done this and what the outcome was. They seem like they would be pretty close and i might be doing this in the future. it will probably be a kxf250f both stock, what do you think, thanks

An uncorked r should take it. But it will be closer then you think. a 450 bike vs a 450 quad will be a slaughter, with a win going to the bike though.

You should win on a holeshot.

It also depends on how loose the terrain is cuz quads have 2x the traction

my friends rmz250 beat a crf450 bike..so i dunno..but it wasn't a stock 250...-shrugs-..and don't say i'm lying because i saw it happen lol

id say the bike..... bikes are always gunna be faster. there not as restricted as quads for some reason and there lighter. so stock for stock, id say the bike without a dought. Ull have to do it to see

lol, sounds like someone needs to learn how to ride there 450. There is over a 15 hp difference between the two. Built up or not, the 450 should still put a hurtin on it.

I've raced and beat several dirtbikes on my 450 with the mods in my sig. Including a 2 stroke kawi 220, an xr400, and a xr650. These were about 400 ft races and I won easily in all of them.

those are trail bikes not race bikes my CR250 is way faster than the YFZ

I'm not here to argue but I don't think your CR250 is WAY faster unless you have work done and the yfz was stock. These quads are faster than you think, the pro times on certain tracks there was only a 2 or 3 second difference between Ricky Carmichael and some of the top atv guys. I'm not here to brag and I know that they are considered trail quads or whatever, I was just making a comparision.:rolleyes:
