Hey Sand Lovers! Just thought I'd drop in and say hello. Name is Steve. I live in Western Australia. But I'm EX US Navy. Married an Aussie girl. Have lived here for 10 years now.

Anyway I am getting an 05 TRX400EX next month. I live right on the beach...well 100 yards from it. Have some very nice dunes about a 5 minute ride from home. Highest one would be in the area of about 100 -120 feet tall. And the entire dune area would be about 5 sq miles. Anyway if anyone is interested I'll post some Australian dune shots once I have the bike! :blah:

No worries mate!!! :D So looking forward to getting out and down the beach and dunes. One thing about the dunes here though...Hard to find a spot to ride with all the people around!

LOL!!! Yeah right!!! Went out with a friend over our 106 degree Christmas and saw 1 other rider!!! It's great!!!

Roughly where are you located in Australia?

If you have the time, money, and patience, as soon as you get your quad, take it apart and have EVERYTHING powdercoated. The salt and humidity with rust everything.

I'm in Western Australia. Not much humidity here, it's a desert! But living right on the beach there is alot of salt in the air.

Now I just need to figure out how to get it into reverse. The shop gave me an 04 Owners Manual by mistake, they are looking for the 05 Manual. I did manage to get it into reverse once last night, but I can't remember what the sequence was.
