450r crankcase-oil?

since there are two fills, there are two oil chambers, how do they have a same oil drain, the one on the left is engine, and the one on the rt is trans? by the way the 450r is new to me.

they DO NOT drain the same....each one drains seperate. The right one drains on a bolt below the break pedal on the engine.
