Tire And Wheel Question

Hey guys,

I was just wandering, would a set of like Kenda Klaws on Douglas .190 be a good setup for like jumping and MX. I see alot of guys buy all those expensive beadlocks and Hypers. Would this rim hold up to the abuse in MX. What are some of the pros and cons of those beadlocks and things next to like a regular Douglas .190 for say.

Regular 8 inch Douglas .190's with 18 inch rear tires will hold up just fine for MX and jumping. There are a couple advantages with beadlocks especially in the rear, but you will be just fine with regular .190's.

the douglas "ultimate wheel" has a double rolled lip so you dont have to have the "race rings" and it is basically the .190 with the rolled lip this is supposed to be really strong and there only $90 a piece. me personally i just bought 20x6x10 kenda klawmx for the fronts and 19x10x9 holeshot MXR4s for the rear this way i can keep my stock rims and not have to buy a set of 8 inch rear rims cause i dotn have enough money rite now but if you have the money every one says get hiper rears
