Is there any way to tell if your crank bearing seals are going in a 2 stroke.

A lean condition is a good way to tell, and usually that will be the stator side. If the clutch side goes bad, you will usually have rich condition since it is pulling transmission oil. Is your transmission oil disappearing? When changing the clutch side seal, be sure to replace the collar on the crank, which the seal rides on. This collar will get wear grooves in it and a new seal will not seal up tight.
