i mostly ride on the ractice track that my buddies and i have, and some light trail riding, maybe a few hill climbs here and there...there is a lot of mud around, but i very seldomely go through it. i might be racing this spring and couldnt decide between the turf tamers, razr mx's or klaw mx's...i plan on getting a package so i have new rims also...i've got about 150 bucks so its basically which is better, thanks

if your going to be doing the trail riding and hill climbing also i would go with the kendas even though i run the razrs the kendas have a more durable 4ply carcass and the razrs and tamers only have a 2ply and they would pop easily on the trails and hill climbs

I wouldn't go with the .160 aluminum for mx. If your racing mx then for sure go with some .190 aluminum rims!!

dont get anytihng.190 or lower if your doing jumps. im 130 pounds and bent both of my rear 190s on a tabletop. check ou the douglas rolled edge wheels or the new itp pro series rolled edge, or if you have the money get beadlocks

do not go smaller than a 20 inch rear tire on your 250ex It will be much slower on the top of each gear adn you cant chage the gearing ont he 250 trust me dont go lower than a 20 inch rear try the regular razr 4ply on a 9inch rim you will lose way to much speed if you go lower than a 20 and you can tell you lost speed in every gear when you install 20s so it have to be even slower with 18s

i think i'll just get the .160 if i have the money then i'll get the .190 cuz i have around 110 right now and my birthday is coming up(i usually get somewhere around 50 bucks for that) so im guessing around $150 to $160...i would love some beadlocks, but they are a little expensive..about the bending rim thing, im not too worried about doing that, because out at our track we have a 4 foot high table top, its around 15 feet long, i get some pretty decent air off it, i've hit it many times with my stock tires and rims..

i know that it will be slower with smaller tires, but the guys at doug gust recommended some 18 inch mx tires...also i plan to get a jet kit and hmf exhaust eventually so i wouldnt be losing all that much speed (although im not all that worried about speed, because we all know that 250ex's are just plain not that fast)

i just want the mx racer look

i still feel youd be more happy with 20 inch razr and im assuming youll be runnig stock fronts the 18s will look kinda funny with 22 on the front not trying to be an *** or anyhting its JMO plus you could run them on your stock wheels and save 50 bucks for sumthing else but do what ya want its your money and im a retard:p

You can still bend rims easily. If you plan on racing go with nothing less than .190. You have a better chance of bending them with 18inch rear tires too dont forget, so it might not be a bad idea to stick with the 20 inchers.

stock honda d.i.d rims are stronger than .125 .160 and .190

i think im going to do that, i was just told a story of some guy at a dealership nearby putting 18 inch tires and busting his drive shaft because of the added torque?
idk, somethin like that
