what 400ex parts are universal with other bikes

i have heard of 250r a-arms fitting on to z400s. will 250r arms fit on a 400ex too? also what other parts are universal between other bikes and the 400ex?

no no no, sorry dude you might have misunderstood me. i am asking if any parts will fit on the 400ex. i will be buying a 400ex in a couple months. i was wondering if i could pick up some z400 arms and bolt them right on no prob

Shocks- 250r, z-400, 450R, YFZ 450, cannondale will all work for front shocks.
Bumper- 450R, Z-400, 300EX sill bolt up with little or no work
A-arms-Not sure
Quite a few motor parts off an XR 400 dirtbike will work
250R plastic is not that hard of an exchange i have heard
Tires & wheels-300EX, 350X, 200X, 250R, 250X, z-400, 450R, cannondale will all work in rear, not sure about fronts.
350X rear shock loweres rear end

Why not buy 400ex parts for your 400ex...:confused: By no means is there shortage of 400ex parts and they're not expensive either. I think over 650,000 of the dam things been sold world wide...:eek2: :eek2:

well i have this deal with this one guy with a 400ex and i can get it 300 cheaper with no suspension or arms, cuz he sold the stockers and the aftermarket. and i was thinking that i could get arms and shocks for cheaper than 300
