obviously you havent worn a pair of high-end riding boots when they were brand new. I tried the riding method and gave up on that when my feet were bleeding from the sores...........put on two pairs of thick socks during break-in for extra help on that hard to heal feet.;)

I was pretty uncomfortable with my new FOX Forma Comps when they were new so I wore them to work for about 4 days and they fit like a glove now.

my fox tracker boots didn't give me any problems, and there not the most expensive boots either, if "high end" boots do that then maybe you shouldnt buy them for your tender feet

Dang you kids are harsh. They do many dirtbikers do the same and yes they were tech-8's i used and they will do that to your feet the 1st time you wear them cause they are so stiff!

I got a new set of the Thor Quadrant boots coming, and the guy at the bike shop suggested i rub them down with saddle soap, and walk around with them on for a few days. The saddle soap should also help protect the leather, and water proof it even more.

Whenever I get a new pair of boots I wear them around the shop as much as I can till they get comfortable. If my feet start to hurt, I take the boots off and put them on again the next morning.
