well i'm gonna do it finally i'm gonna go hopfully saturday and get my 450r and i'm gonna put some cash down on it but i was wondering how much did u everyone here put down on yours if u put money down? i got abovut 700 saved up right now to put down on a left over 04 450r?

I'll step up and tell my tale. Two machines...04 yfz450 and 04 raptor 350, gear for two of us, we put $15,800.00 DOWN IN ONE SIMPLE PAYMENT. Nothing else to pay. It is a great finance plan.

that seems high for around here... what was the breakdown?

i have always felt (and still do), that going in debt on a play to is a bad move. dont give me wrong, taking advantage of free financing is alright, just be ready to pay it off before the rate goes through the roof. But from what i have seen (putting very little down and doing the low payment deal), your quad depreciates faster than you can pay for it..

I was not directing the second part of my post toward you. and yes i thought $15800 was high for 2 quads and some gear. i didnt know you got tires, wheels, pipes, nerfs, ramps and enough gear for the whole family.

i put $3000 cash down on mine and financed the rest which was another $3,500 on a 2 year payment plan at %6.9 APR $156 a month.
