hey wats up i go ta 250x and was jus wonderin what everbody eles has

I got one too! I bought it new in 1987 and raced it for two seasons in MX. My oldest son took over and he raced it in MX and wood in 2004. That little quad is just amazing. I never had to do any engine repair until now. The splines let go on the main output drive shaft (front sprocket) and I will have to crack open the bottom end to replace it. Not bad in 17 years, that quad doesn't owe me anything. We blew the splines during race practice in august and we welded the sprocket to the shaft to finish the season:eek2: I guess I will have to use a grinder to get that sprocket off :D .

I'm very impress about my 250X and all other products made by Honda.

Mine is one of the fastest 250x's on the site...Yours isnt a 250x since it has a 350x motor....Mine is a Curtis Sparks built stroker motor...nice quad though

starts 1st or 2nd kick but is very hard to kick. And It runs like a top its a torqey bike.Its almost kinda scary with a stock swinger. What can I say it a HONDA :D

Its a aluminum dual megaphone exhaust. It works very well. I also polished it. I made the tailight bracket and rear bumper also. And my custom flag holder that works great! ;) I made it for free also.

A guy from lyndsey machine told me about it cause he did all the work on it and all I know is that is what it said on the receipt's when I bought it. The guy who owned it built bikes he had some harley's and some quads and he died in a truck crash like 5 years ago. Well his wife didn't know what to do with it or what it was worth. So I talked her down to 700 and told her it didn't run and was old so thats all it was worth (lol). I raced a new piped z and beat him. It is real quick and and it starts right up, doesnt leak any oil or burn any oil either.I had to buy a hub for 30 and axle bearings for 20. And it had a 250x carb on it I cleaned it and it started right up, Then I bought a used 400ex carb on ebay for 30$ and it was a big improvment. And I bought some new tires for it from a place here called nps it get's all the stuff from wrecked freight trucks for 25 bucks a tire "2 new razr front's and 2 rear kenda knarly's for $100 :eek2: "

So I have about 900$ in it.

heres mine just finished and took it to glamis for New Year
87 250x 350 powrol conversion. Fly bars ASV clutch and brake handles new Maier race cut front and rear.
It ran strong and reliable once I got the jetting right.

I'm in ny too. Quite a ways away from long island thou. Im' just north of utica. There are some pritty fun sand pits up here and we should be getting a MX track this spring/summer. If anyone wants to make th trip up here I'd be glad to show them around. Riding with the same 4 or 5 people gets old sometimes.

Looks Great! 250x's and 300ex's are sooooo much better when they are wider. The Hipers make it all the better. :cool:
