stock 400ex front shocks can't be revavled. you can make them stiffer like the stock 300ex shocks but it just depends on the type of riding you do and your weight. i bought a bracket off of ebay and was going to do the conversion on my old 300 but never done it. it looked pretty sturdy but i don't know if i would trust it on an mx track.

I would trust the bracket sold on ebay, my friend ran it on his 300 for a while. However I did not like the setup at all, the bump steer was outta control and it made the front set wayyy to high. It made an alreay light front end feel much lighter. I agree its a cheap way to get a different front end but I would recommend looking elsewhere. Do a search on it many smart suspension guys from here discuss the setup.

if you use a-arms designed for a 300ex, this is still a worthwhile mod that gets you lots more travel. you can use 400ex shocks, but they wont be valved right. i'm not sure if you could revalve a 400ex shock to work right.
